This is a podcast where I catch up with intelligent & articulate advertising agency leaders to understand what makes them tick, and hear about how they went about setting up their agencies. The slight catch is that the agencies don't actually exist, and I put my guests on the spot to improvise everything.

Here is a run down of each episode and my amazing guests who for some reason have agreed to go along for the ride.

James Yeats Smith - Creative Director

For my first episode I put Creative Director James Yeats Smith on the spot by introducing him to THE YES AGENCY - an agency he 'created' after noticing a gap in the market where he could overcome any client tension by simply saying Yes to every request. Their motto: Affability over Authenticity. Let's see how this pans out for him.

Este Du Plessis - Strategy Director

In Episode 2, I put Strategy Director Este Du Plessis on the spot this week with 'A Better Place' - an agency created solely to make the world a better place to live. Let's see how she takes it in her stride when I inform her all her clients are fast food, guns & ammunition distributors, political dictators and the like.

Darren Cronje - Creative Director

For Episode 3, I put Creative Director Darren Cronje on the spot to talk me through AWARDED - an agency built for the sole purpose of winning awards. Nothing else.

Nitsa Lotus - Managing Director / Chief Growth Officer

In episode 4, I talk with TBWA Australia’s Chief Growth Officer about her new venture to create ‘Unsuitable’, an agency that’s got rid of the ‘Suits’ and left all project management, account management and business management to the creatives, designers and strategists.

Brigitta Szaszfai - Creative

Legendary Creative ‘Brigs’ and I have a deep dive into ‘Breaking Down Brilliance’ of one of the all time greatest ads in history - the Kiama Ice Creamery jingle.
